How to Run a Telegram Bot from ZIP or GitHub Without a VPS
A practical guide to deploying your Telegram bot: upload a ZIP or connect GitHub, add BOT_TOKEN, and check logs without configuring a Linux server.
Step 1: Prepare your code
Package your Telegram bot as a ZIP or push it to GitHub. The entry file is usually main.py (aiogram / python-telegram-bot).
Step 2: Create a project
In the Deployka dashboard, create a Telegram bot project or choose your own code, then upload the ZIP or connect GitHub. Start with Free Nano to verify the build and bot response without paying. Nano provides a persistent slot with 256 MB RAM for $1.09 per 30 days; the current term and price are shown before checkout.
Step 3: Add BOT_TOKEN
Put the token from @BotFather into environment variables — never commit it. Unsure about env? Run a free Deploy Doctor scan first.
Step 4: Deploy and verify the bot
Start the build and follow its status and logs in the dashboard. Build time depends on the project's dependencies, so there is no fixed launch-time promise. When the project reaches Running, send the bot a test message. Logs and restart controls are in the dashboard. An HTTPS URL is for web apps; a Telegram bot using long polling normally only needs outbound requests to Telegram.
Why is this faster than a VPS?
A typical VPS needs Python, systemd, Nginx, SSL and firewall rules. One-click deploy removes that setup.
