Replit to production checklist
On Replit everything “just runs”. Outside you need an explicit start command, secrets, and a non-Replit host.
Common pain
- Secrets only live in Replit Secrets
- Paths/ports assume Replit
- No Dockerfile
- SQLite not under /data (app disk is read-only)
Production checklist
- Export the repo to GitHub
- Move Secrets → .env.example
- SQLite → /data/… path or Postgres
- Generate a Deploy Pack
- Ensure the app binds 0.0.0.0
